Devil’s Courthouse
At an elevation of 5,720 feet, this beautiful overlook allows visitors to see three states: South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. This devilishly impressive view is a 20-minute hike up a partially paved trail. Enjoy panoramic views at the top and be on the lookout for some unique creatures. The Devil’s Courthouse is home to a selection of rare plant species and some high-flying birds.
Looking Glass Falls
Feel the refreshing mist of a 60-foot cascading waterfall. This natural beauty is flowing with crisp mountain water and is the perfect place to grab a photo. Observe Looking Glass Falls from the top of the trail’s stairs or take the steps down to view the falls from the lower platform.
Midnight Swimming Hole
Looking to cool off on your mountain trek? Take a 3-mile trail to the crystal-clear waters of Midnight Swimming Hole. During the warmer months, this pool is the perfect spot to take a plunge—this water is cold year-round. If you want to keep the fun rolling, check out Mouse Creek falls and Bent Creek trail to extend your hike.
