Our mountain home is located at 3200 elevation with a beautiful mountain view. The interior is chalet style with exposed post and beam construction. Open floor plan with 2 private bedrooms and large loft used as third bedroom. Wrap around deck for relaxing!
The driveway is a bit steep, but we DON’T have 4-wheel drive and haven’t had a problem. FYI, when we are there we bring our cat,in case you have a severe cat allergy.
The location is only 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Go in the opposite direction and you are in downtown Waynesville.
Gas grill outdoors. Propane stove in living room for cozy evenings when it is cool outside.
Other things to note
Across the gravel road from our house is a private property with a pond. This adds to the great view. 2 night minimum.
