Open to the public for use during day-light hours. Home of the Pigeon River Scenic Walking Trail, Playground, Swimming pool, 2 sets of horseshoe pits, 6 basketball goals, 1 sand volleyball court, and 4 shuffleboard courts.
Each Friday during the summer months one bluegrass or old-time band and one clogging team are hired to perform for Pickin’ in the Park. Several hundred people come to listen setting up their lawn chairs and blankets. At other spots away from the stage local musicians meet and play in numerous jam sessions.
The Canton Swimming Pool is open daily for the summer season beginning that day and remains open thru late August/first of September.
